As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in Secondary Education, English from the University of Central Florida, I bring over 2 years of experience in teaching and tutoring English language arts. My approach is highly interpersonal; I prioritize understanding each student's unique needs and goals. I believe that fostering a supportive environment allows students to express their creativity, especially in areas like creative writing and literary analysis. I take pride in tailoring lessons to engage students, often incorporating hands-on projects that connect literary concepts to their personal experiences. My time at Orange County Public Schools and first-hand experiences has strengthened my commitment to helping students succeed academically while nurturing their love for language. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy the various natures of literary analysis in identifying and highlighting the subtle nuances that make you, the students, and your writing unique! It fuels my enthusiasm for teaching this craft to others.

Many of my hobbies span outside of the Language Arts subject area as well such as being a coach both inside and outside of the classroom! I've spent roughly 6 years playing basketball through middle and high school, where 3 of those years I also spent as a Sprinter in Track. Recently over the last 3 years, much of my time outside of Language Arts is spent playing Club/Recreational Volleyball at the collegiate level and spreading my knowledge as a player to beginners looking to get into the sport for high school or club. I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle through sports and similar activities as I am also trying out Pickleball for the first time. I'm not just simply a sport nut though, as I love to spend any down time winding down playing video games with friends and family, catching up on some of my favorite anime/manga/manwha, or trying (and failing) to teach myself the guitar.
