As a dedicated tutor with a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Walden University, I bring over 2 years of tutoring experience and more than 10 years in various educational roles, including teaching foster parent licensing courses at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. My expertise in social work and mental health allows me to connect deeply with students of all ages, from young children to adults. I employ a strengths-based approach, focusing on each student's unique needs and actively seeking their feedback to create tailored lesson plans. I am particularly passionate about addressing the impacts of childhood trauma on learning, working diligently to help students overcome obstacles and achieve their academic goals. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring topics in psychology and engaging in community service, which further fuels my commitment to education and personal growth.
