Georgia: Framingham tutor
Certified Tutor
As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's degree in Global Public Health and Anthropology from the University of Virginia, I bring 3 years of experience in classroom instruction and several additional years as a one-on-one tutor. My journey includes teaching fourth-grade math and third-grade English Language Arts at KIPP New Orleans, where I focused on helping students achieve their academic goals through targeted interventions. During college, I also tutored English Learners of various ages through conversational English practice. My approach centers on understanding each student's unique needs and using relevant, real-world examples to enhance comprehension. I am dedicated to creating an environment where students feel supported and empowered to excel, and I find joy in watching them grow. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading and traveling, which enriches my perspective as an educator.
