As someone who comes from a low-income background, I have always recognized the privileges that come with the opportunity to learn. Education is empowering; it is the reason that I attended the University of Chicago, received bachelor's degrees in both Economics and Cinema & Media Studies, and am currently in the process of receiving my CFA. I always intended to share my knowledge with those around me, for everyone deserves to see their full potential!

I deeply enjoy teaching about any part of the college admissions process (standardized tests and essay applications), as well as chess - my favorite subject. That being said, I also have tremendous experience with almost all aspects of elementary, high school, and college mathematics.

My teaching style is personal, direct, and challenging; I would consider it a waste to not push my students to become the best version of themselves! As someone with learning differences, I also place a strong emphasis on building an environment inclusive to all backgrounds and learning styles. Learning should be fun, learning should be efficient, and learning should be available to all.

They often say that hobbies are what make a person! Outside of tutoring, I typically enjoy the following in my free time: playing Clash of Clans (top 200 United States player) and Chess (2200 ELO Chess.com), competing in Jiu-Jitsu (brown-belt), and acting as a manager for multiple underground musicians within the rap and EDM spaces. I also spend a large portion of my time in the United Kingdom, and I am always interested in an adventure. Life is far too short to not have a fun existence!
