Certified Tutor

Economics and Excel are the subjects I nerd out about, which means my enthusiasm and knowledge shine through. I obtained my bachelors degree in Economics from UNT and took multiple graduate level courses; since then I've been working as a data analyst for 5 years and use Excel every day. I have a lot of experiance teaching and tutoring: I was the TA for both Intermediate Macro Economics and Intro to Micro Economics so I know how to teach at different experiance levels. I was also an athletics tutor managing individual student progress and an Online Chegg tutor so online learning isn't new to me. I believe my strength is being able to connect with students and explain things simply- if a tutor can only say things in a complex way they don't understand the material well enough. I'm also great at listening which helps me figure out what a student truly needs help on- no one likes listening to things they already know when they just have one missing piece. I've had a lot of students tell me I'm a bit like a kindergarten teacher- I make learning fun with examples that everyone can relate to.

I love my cat and friends dearly. I like the TV show Leverage and White Collar. Logic puzzles are fun which is why Excel is so great to work with.
