Chelsea
Certified Tutor
As a dedicated educator with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and currently working toward my Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University, I bring over eight years of experience teaching children on the autism spectrum. My work has focused on supporting learners in reading, writing, math, and executive functioning skills, always tailoring instruction to meet their individual needs.
In addition to academic tutoring, I specialize in exam preparation for the BCBA and BCaBA, drawing on my experience creating custom study guides, trainings, and test materials from scratch to help future behavior analysts succeed.
My passion for teaching stems from both my professional background and personal experiences as a parent of a child with dyslexia and another with autism. I strive to create engaging, memorable, and confidence-building learning experiences, using approaches like Orton Gillingham and breaking down complex concepts into accessible visuals and interactive tools.
I am committed to meeting each student where they are, adapting my methods to help them thrive academically and beyond. I look forward to supporting students and future professionals on their educational journeys.
My interests and hobbies range from crafts, legos, reading, and spending time with my kids
