As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, I have over two years of experience in tutoring and classroom settings, focusing primarily on English language arts. My approach centers on building strong rapport with my students, understanding their unique learning styles, and creating a supportive environment where they can thrive. I believe that literature can profoundly impact personal growth, and I aim to inspire a love for reading and writing in my students. I enjoy working with younger learners, particularly in elementary English and reading, and I draw on my diverse experiences to tailor lessons that engage and empower each student.

When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy reading, meditating, hiking sand dunes, swimming in lake Michigan and being out in nature in general. I have two amazing cats named "Nikko" (Japanese for 'Sunshine') and "Ra" (named after the Egyptian Sun God) and they are my whole world!
