I am a passionate educator with over 10 years of experience in tutoring and classroom instruction. I hold a Master's degree in Liberal Studies from Indiana University with a special emphasis in language and literature, which I integrate into my tutoring sessions for both pre-college and college students.

My expertise spans a range of subjects, including grammar teaching, creative writing, literature, and music theory. I utilize my background in music pedagogy to foster creativity and critical thinking among students in the academic setting.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes understanding each student's unique cognitive strengths and challenges, employing strategies like those I am certified in with the Feuerstein program to enhance student learning capabilities.

I strive to create an engaging and supportive environment, encouraging students to ask the right questions and develop independence in their studies. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy music, which enriches my approach to education and allows me to connect with students on multiple levels. I am dedicated to helping students succeed academically and personally, guiding them to become confident, self-directed learners.

In my free time, I love spending time with pets, including my own two chinchillas, Jasmine and Willow. Additionally, I love to learn from documentaries and podcasts, particularly enjoying old mysteries, historical stories, and the forensics of solving true crime cases. I enjoy cooking and quality time with family as well.
