I'm a Biochemistry and French and Francophone Studies double major at Appalachian State University. My passion for math and languages drives my commitment to tutoring, where I aim to help students build confidence and find joy in their learning. With experience tutoring peers and assisting younger students through my role as vice president of my high school's French Honor Society, I have developed a supportive and engaging approach that tailors to each student's unique learning style. I particularly enjoy tutoring subjects like Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus where I can share my enthusiasm for problem-solving and critical thinking. My teaching philosophy centers on finding ways to get students to that "aha" moment that make complex concepts easier to understand, and I look forward to helping students succeed academically while fostering a love for learning.
