As a graduate student pursuing a Master's in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Tampa, I am passionate about fostering effective communication and meaningful writing in my tutoring of college and high school level English and essay editing. With over two years of experience running study groups and assisting peers with their writing, I have developed a patient, student-centered approach that emphasizes collaboration and individual learning styles. I believe in engaging students by encouraging them to articulate their ideas and actively participate in the editing process, which not only enhances their writing skills but also prepares them for future academic and professional endeavors. My hobbies include reading and spending time outside with friends and family. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I also love a good horror book! I also love getting what I call "photosynthesis time" at the beach or a local park. Most of the time, though, you can find me at a local cozy coffee shop working on my own endeavors. I have developed expertise in human trafficking and I am interested in how social networks contribute to forms of lone-wolf terrorism.
