As a recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Communication Studies from Kent State University, I bring a fresh perspective to tutoring, particularly in College English, Creative Writing, and essay composition. While I have experience mentoring students ranging from elementary to college age, my passion lies in helping them develop critical thinking skills and effective writing techniques. I believe that tutoring is about meeting students where they are and guiding them toward their goals in a supportive and empathetic environment. My approach emphasizes open communication and personalized lesson plans that foster trust and engagement. I am particularly excited to help students navigate the challenges of writing in the age of AI, ensuring they can think critically and express themselves authentically. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring creative writing and engaging with literature, which continually inspires my teaching methodology.
