Certified Tutor

I am currently pursuing two BS's in Mathematics and Computer Science, with minors in French and Spanish, at Case Western Reserve University. I have prior experience as a peer tutor at my university and am thus most adept at working with college-aged students and adults, but I am willing to work with clients of all ages. Additionally, while I tutor mostly in college-level Mathematics, I am also capable of tutoring in subjects such as French, Spanish, and Astronomy, and as a National Merit Scholar, I am also well-equipped to assist with SAT and ACT test prep.

As a tutor, I believe not just in ensuring that my tutees understand the material, but in guiding them through solving problems by themselves instead of simply giving them the answers. I believe that conceptual understanding involves not just knowing the answers to questions, but knowing how to form connections between concepts in order to assemble those answers. My goal is to help you in a way that a Google search or ChatGPT cannot.

My hobbies include solving math problems, gaming, reading, writing, and enthusiastic walks through the woods.
