a passionate educator with over 23 years of experience working with students from Pre-K through adult learners. I've taught Spanish, reading, and English to speakers of other languages (ESOL), and I currently serve as the principal of an International Baccalaureate (IB) elementary school. I'm a proud graduate of the University of Richmond and hold endorsements in reading and ESOL.
I love helping students because I believe in the power of education to change lives. I tutor Spanish, reading, writing, and ESOL, and my favorite subject to teach is Spanishlanguage opens the door to communication, connection, and confidence. My teaching style is student-centered, supportive, and engaging. I meet learners where they are, build on their strengths, and create lessons that are fun, meaningful, and effective.

Outside of education, I am a published author of fiction. Writing is a creative outlet that allows me to explore complex ideas, build immersive worlds, and connect with others through storytelling. I also enjoy reading, learning about different cultures, and spending time with my family. These interests enrich my teaching by helping me stay imaginative, empathetic, and deeply connected to the human experience.
