As a recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Human Physiology from the University of Iowa, I bring a strong foundation in high school science subjects, particularly biology and algebra. With over two years of tutoring experience, I have honed my ability to connect with students, using tailored lesson plans and regular check-ins to address their unique challenges. My background as a research assistant in a pediatric traumatic brain injury lab has deepened my understanding of scientific concepts, which I strive to make accessible and engaging for my students. I am passionate about helping learners overcome obstacles and develop confidence in their abilities, drawing from my own experiences in rigorous coursework. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy volunteering at my local church and finding creative ways to inspire my students.
