I tutor a wide range of subjects, but I am most passionate about:

-WRITING
-BIOLOGY/CHEMISTRY

I have experience in the classroom as a long-term substitute math teacher for middle and high school students. As a long-term substitute, I developed lesson plans, lectured, practiced with students, and graded assignments. Outside of the classroom, I also tutored private clients.

I will graduate from the University of Arizona this upcoming spring. I am studying Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Professional and Technical Writing.

Education is one of my passions! Many students struggle with math and I enjoy helping them to catch up and understand the "why" behind math concepts for the first time. I also love to help students write essays that they feel proud of.

Regardless of subject matter, my goal is to always help students feel confident in their own abilities and develop a growth mindset. I strive to make a lasting impact on the students that I teach and tutor so that they excel for years to come!

Hobbies

I am passionate about music and I play the piano, flute, and sing. I also enjoy playing sports, including basketball, tennis, and volleyball. I lived in Italy for over a year and am interested in Italian culture and food. I even speak Italian and Spanish! I love teaching and I hope to teach university students someday. I also love writing and published 10+ articles on my university’s website.
