As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in Music Education from Sam Houston State University, I have experience in tutoring Elementary School English, math, and science, complemented by 13 years of classroom teaching as a music specialist. My approach centers on fostering an engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves and explore their creativity. I believe that every child has unique strengths, and my goal is to tailor my teaching methods to meet their individual needs, helping them build confidence in their reading and writing skills. I am dedicated to instilling a love for learning and ensuring that each student achieves their academic goals while nurturing their curiosity and imagination. In my free time, I enjoy exploring music and literature, which enriches my teaching and connects me with my students on multiple levels.
