Above all, I am a sister, daughter, and friendroles that ground and guide me. Academically, I am in my third and final year at Fordham University School of Law. I earned my B.A. from the University of Michigan having studied Cognitive Science and Law, Justice, and Social Change.
My passion for education and mentorship began in high school, where I served as a peer tutor in writing, math, and science, and volunteered at Widener Memorial School, supporting students with physical and medical disabilities. At Michigan, I continued this work as a literacy tutor for elementary school students through a non-profit, Brilliant Detroit. Most recently, I have tutored Algebra I and II at the high school level.
Today, with the benefit of legal training and professional experience, I am especially equipped to tutor students in critical reading, writing, analytical thinking, and the likeranging from early literacy development through graduate-level work.
In my free time, I enjoy running, spending time with family and friends, and trying new restaurants around NYC.
