As a dedicated educator with a Doctorate in Ecosystem Science from Colorado State University, I bring over 15 years of experience in tutoring Natural Sciences both in person and online, specifically Environmental Science, Botany, and Biology. Recently I earned TEFL certification to tutor English, completing 120 hours of coursework.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel motivated to explore and understand complex concepts. By tailoring my approach to each student's individual learning style, I strive to foster critical thinking and a genuine passion for the sciences. I find immense joy in guiding students on their educational journeys, and helping them to achieve their academic goals.
Outside of tutoring, I am an avid hiker and nature enthusiast, which continually inspires my teaching and deepens my commitment to sharing the wonders of our environment with my students.
