My name is Anita J

Being a tutor is more than just an extension of my role of being a Homeschool Mom, it is a reflection of my passion for helping young minds grow and thrive.

As a homeschool mom, I've had the privilege of guiding my own children through their early educational journeys, which has deepened my appreciation for how foundational learning - especially in math - can shape a child's confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills.

I have a special passion for working with Pre-K and Kindergarten children, particularly in early math education as this is the subject my girls thrived in and now are taking gifted courses outside of the home.

My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, playfulness, and building a strong foundation through encouragement and connection. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and supported.

As a homeschool mom, I tailor learning to each child's pace and style as no two children move at the same pace. I will bring that same individualized and compassionate approach to tutoring.


I am committed to helping each child I work with feel empowered and excited about learning, especially in those critical early years where the right guidance can make all the difference.
