Hi! I'm Camila Silva, a recent graduate of the University of Chicago, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics. This fall, I'll be starting my PhD in Astronomy at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I'm passionate about galaxy evolution and the origins of the universe, but I'm just as committed to educational outreach and making higher education more accessible.

As a first-generation, low-income college student from an immigrant household, I understand the challenges many students face. This background helps me connect with learners from all walks of life and advocate for inclusive, supportive learning environments.

I've worked with students from kindergarten through college, tutoring a wide range of subjects, from physics and math to English literature. No matter the subject, I'm deeply invested in helping each student recognize their strengths and feel confident in their ability to succeed.
