Knowledge of social sciences is incredibly important to being able to fully understand the world around you. So many issues and events in our world can be understood more completely when informed of how people and societies function.

For the past 17 years, I have been helping students learn the basics of history and psychology and then make deeper connections with that knowledge. Helping students to to grow and overcome challenges gives me a great sense of purpose. I have a deep knowledge of learning standards and strategies to help students to learn across multiple content areas. I have a Bachelors in Secondary Education from ASU and a Masters in Bilingual and Multicultural Education from NAU.

When I am not tutoring/teaching I am usually spending time with my family in one form or another. We love spending time in the pool, watching movies together and traveling. I am also a track and field coach and spend a lot of time training and mentoring athletes. I am motivated to help your student set and accomplish their personal goals to improve their academic confidence.
