I am a undergraduate student at Stony Brook University with a major in pure Mathematics (MAT). I have always been interested in helping students learn Mathematics in particular because the classical way of teaching is about solving problems and not about why it is so interesting. I'm interested in mathematics because I would like to put an emphasis on the mathematical structures that frame problems. I believe that if you have the full picture, it would actually make problems easier to solve!
Last semester I was a TA for a per-calculus class (MAT125) for the math department. Before that I was a tutor for the SAT math section. Currently I will be tutoring for the SAT math section and AP Calculus AB/BC sections.
