I am deeply passionate about helping students because I believe that education is a transformative force that empowers individuals to achieve their fullest potential. My journey as a faculty member, researcher, and mentor over the past eight years has been driven by a commitment to inspire curiosity, instill confidence, and foster academic excellence in every learner.
I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry (University of the Free State, South Africa), an M.Sc. in Chemistry (University of Ilorin, Nigeria), and a B.Sc. in Pure Chemistry (Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria). My academic training and research have equipped me with a deep understanding of complex chemical concepts and an appreciation for the real-world applications of science.
I tutor a wide range of chemistry-related subjects including general, organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry. My favorite subject to tutor is inorganic chemistry, because it offers a foundational understanding of chemical bonding and structureessential concepts that unlock a deeper appreciation for all areas of chemistry.
My teaching philosophy centers on clarity, engagement, and mentorship. I aim to create a learning environment where students feel valued and confident asking questions. I use real-world examples, digital tools, and visual aids to enhance understanding, and I encourage students to approach problems critically and creatively. I believe in adapting my tutoring style to meet individual learning needs, whether through structured sessions, interactive problem-solving, or one-on-one discussions.
Outside academia, I enjoy reading, exploring new cultures, and attending science conferences to stay updated with the latest innovations.
