I am passionate about helping students because I love seeing them gain confidence and develop a genuine love for learning. As someone who truly enjoys learning myself, I strive to pass that enthusiasm on to each student I work with. With six years of experience as a math teacher in grades 6-10, I have had the privilege of guiding many students through challenging concepts and helping them achieve their academic goals.

I hold a Master's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Western Governors University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Whitworth University. While I primarily tutor math, my background in education allows me to assist students in other subjects as well.

Math is my favorite subject to tutor because it is where I feel most comfortable and passionate. I enjoy breaking down complex problems into manageable steps and helping students build a strong foundation, which ultimately leads to their success and increased confidence.

My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and fostering a positive learning environment. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed when given the right support and tools. Outside of academia, I enjoy swimming and spending quality time with my family, which helps me stay balanced and energized for my work as an educator.
