As a trial attorney for over 27 years, I have had the opportunity to teach and mentor students of all ages. Some of my most memorable experiences have been leading mock trials and mentoring bright students eager to learn the mechanics of the courtroom. Teaching is not only where I give back but also where I find renewed appreciation for my work and the people I serve.

If I were not an attorney, I would be an architect because I am passionate about creating, building and elevating the space around me. My skills are self-taught through practice and determination. As a result, I have learned to build a house from the foundation to the shingles, and all the systems in between. I find remodeling and designing very gratifying, grounding, and the perfect way to decompress after a busy week in court. When I am not gutting a bathroom to remodel it or planning a large garden project, you can find me playing tennis, kayaking, painting or recording music.
