Having a master's degree in mathematics, and as a certified teacher, I have been teaching and tutoring math at the secondary and college level for 18 years. I'm really passionate about helping students learn in a way that actually makes sense to them.
Subjects I have taught at the secondary level include Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Math Models, Pre-Calculus (Algebra and Trigonometry), AP Calculus AB and BC. Subjects I have taught at the college level include College Algebra, Pre-Calc Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus I, Statistics, and remedial level courses including Intermediate Algebra and Pre-Algebra.
Other than math, I am also skilled at conversational Mandarin Chinese, having passed advanced levels on the ACTFL exam and certified to teach it.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my family, whether we’re out for a stroll, visiting the zoo, checking out a museum, exploring the aquarium, or having fun at the many amusement parks Florida has to offer. I'm also a big fan of Disney princesses, Star Wars, and anything in the Marvel Universe!
