I believe that learning is a life-long process that provides us with opportunities to grow as individuals. As we learn, we are able to impart this knowledge to others and share ideas to help create a better world. No matter how young or old a person is, they have the potential to both teach and be taught new things. As a tutor, and a coach, I am always learning and exploring new ideasmany of which come from those whom I teach. When working with my clients, my first priority is to learn how they see and experience the world. This gives me a better understanding of their learning style and provides insight into how to connect concepts to their own experiences. In making these connections they are able to increase their ability to retain and apply the information being presented.

My educational background, qualifies and gives me a uniques perspective as a tutor. I graduated from Penn College of Technology with an Associate's of Applied Sciences Degree in Building Construction Technology in 2008. I worked in construction for eight years, returning to school to earn my Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Business Management from APUS in 2016. I also gained journeyman carpenter status in 2016, and my National E and F soccer coaching licenses in 2017.

Soccer has been a part of my life since I took my first steps, and I have been coaching since I was 14 years old. I am currently volunteering as a soccer coach with the Thrive International Youth Program, a program designed designed to engage refugee youth engaged with the community and help them succeed in school.It's so fulfilling to watch the progress players make throughout the season and see them get excited when they fully understand a concept. Coaching and teaching are very similar disciplines, and I have the same passion for both regardless of the subject matter. I love learning and am open to tutoring any course of study; because I use math and science daily, I am most confident in these disciplines.
