Certified Tutor

I'm an Adelphi University Alumna and Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over 15 years of experience in clinical supervision, regulatory compliance, and behavioral health services, including extensive work within OMH and OASAS-certified programs. I hold an Advanced Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-Adv) certification and am currently working toward my LCSW.

My passion for tutoring comes from a lifelong commitment to empowering others, especially emerging social workers, through education. I've mentored MSW students in the field, guided candidates preparing for the LMSW exam, and supported learners in mastering key content areas like values and ethics, clinical interventions, and human development. I specialize in simplifying complex material and helping students build test-taking confidence using clear frameworks, memory tools, and personalized strategies.

I enjoy working with students preparing for the LMSW exam. Supporting their professional growth and watching their confidence bloom is deeply rewarding. My tutoring style is warm, structured, and encouraging. I believe in meeting students where they are, building on their strengths, and celebrating progress every step of the way.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy writing, music, photography, and staying connected to my community through service and spiritual grounding.
