Certified Tutor
I am currently a fourth year electrical engineering student at University of Alberta and I teach high school math. I can cover a variety of math topics such as trigonometry, linear, quadratics, systems, etc. I have done tutoring both to help review for upcoming exams or to teach new material for the next semester. To me, the best way to learn new concepts is though solving practice problems, which also helps students what kind of questions would be expected in tests. In my lessons, I always try to include both simple problems that only require a single concept and more complex problems that requires more than one step or concept to actually implement what is being taught. I believe that many of the math concepts taught in high school form the foundation for more advanced ideas in further education, so it is vital to have a firm grasp of them, and I strive to support students with this endeavor. In my spare time I enjoy jogging and listening to music.
