I am a driven and resilient first-generation college graduate with a BS in Biology, earned in just 3.5 years while balancing multiple responsibilities, including EMT training, a bioethics internship, and real estate coursework. My passion for science and education is evident in my ability to break down complex concepts into relatable, digestible lessons, a skill I honed as a resident assistant and through my recent educational video on the five senses.

Through my diverse experiences from researching bioethics and public health policy to managing academic and personal commitments I have developed strong communication and teaching skills that I am eager to bring to Varsity Tutors. My background in clinical research and anatomy and physiology has equipped me with the technical knowledge to effectively support students in mastering challenging scientific material, while my EMT training has further sharpened my ability to remain calm under pressure and explain complex information clearly and confidently.

My work in real estate also speaks to my discipline and commitment to self-directed learning, skills that will allow me to connect with students preparing for standardized tests or struggling with demanding coursework. Additionally, my bioethics internship experience underscores my ability to engage in interdisciplinary learning, making me uniquely qualified to tutor subjects that require both analytical thinking and clear communication.

Outside of academics, I am passionate about running, fitness, and exploring coffee shops in my neighborhood. I also love spending time with my two cats, who keep me grounded and remind me to enjoy life's simple pleasures. At Varsity Tutors, I am excited to leverage my strong academic foundation, diverse experiences, and passion for helping others to inspire and empower students to achieve their academic goals.
