I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Spanish at the University of Michigan. I have years of experience working with students of various ages in both academic and enrichment settings, including teaching debate, leading writing workshops, and coaching students one-on-one. I've worked as a Program Director and Instructor at Lumos Debate, where I taught debate, public speaking, and critical thinking skills to students between the ages of 8 and 16, while also managing staff and curriculum development.

I specialize in tutoring English, Spanish, and standardized test prep for exams like the ACT and SAT. I particularly enjoy working with students on reading comprehension, grammar, and essay writingskills that are essential not only for tests, but for academic success more broadly. I also love helping students with Spanish, whether they're mastering grammar rules or practicing conversation.

My tutoring style is approachable, adaptive, and goal-oriented. I aim to meet students where they are and build their confidence by breaking down complex concepts into understandable pieces. I focus on helping students understand the "why" behind what they're learning, which leads to deeper understanding and stronger performance.

Some of my favorite interests include sports, where I especially love playing soccer and tennis, while my favorite to watch are basketball and football. Cooking is another passion of mine. I love making Italian and Mexican dishes and experimenting with new recipes. I also enjoy traveling and exploring different cultures, which ties into my interest in languages and global affairs. In addition, I stay involved with public speaking, debate, and writing on topics like economics and current events.
