I am passionate about helping students because I believe every learner deserves support, encouragement, and the right tools to succeed. Watching students gain confidence and grow academically is incredibly rewarding, and I strive to create a safe, positive space where that growth can happen.

I have several years of experience teaching middle and high school English in classroom settings, working with students in grades 7-12. My teaching background includes designing lessons, supporting diverse learning needs, and providing individualized feedback on reading and writing. I earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Grand Canyon University and a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Thomas More University.

I tutor subjects such as English Language Arts, writing, literature, reading comprehension, and grammar. My favorite subject to tutor is writing because it allows students to express themselves and build essential communication skills. I enjoy helping students find their voice and develop clarity and structure in their work.

My teaching philosophy centers on patience, adaptability, and encouragement. I believe in meeting students where they are and tailoring instruction to their learning style. My tutoring style is supportive, structured, and interactive, with a focus on building long-term confidence and skills. Outside of academia, I enjoy creative writing, reading speculative fiction, and exploring educational technology.
