Certified Tutor
As a dedicated and compassionate tutor, I believe that learning is most effective when it is personal, engaging, and empowering. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.
I am currently a junior in college pursuing a double major in Secondary Education Mathematics, and Pure Mathematics. This academic path has allowed me to build a strong foundation in both advanced mathematical content and effective teaching practices. My experience spans working with students across various age groups and skill levels, and I specialize in breaking down complex topics, especially in Calculus and Algebra, into clear, manageable steps that meet learners where they are.
I emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, and active participation, skills that support academic success and foster long-term confidence and independence in learning. My ultimate goal is to help students not only succeed in their coursework but to see themselves as capable, curious, and resilient thinkers. I look forward to bringing my energy, experience, and passion for teaching into every tutoring session to help students thrive.

Outside of academics, I enjoy swing dancing and have a strong passion for music, having taught myself to play piano over the past 10 or so years. I also enjoy video gaming as a way to relax and connect with friends, and I find joy in cooking, often experimenting with new recipes :) . My love for learning and creativity is at the heart of many of these hobbies--mastering a new song, trying a challenging recipe, or exploring strategic thinking through games. Naturally, I also have a deep and enduring interest in mathematics, which continues to inspire both my academic and personal pursuits.
