Liyu graduated from Duke University in 2022 with Latin honors and highest distinction and is now a student at Harvard Law. She comes with extensive experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and with different learning styles. At the center of her teaching pedagogy is that each student is unique and deserves a tailored educational experience.

Liyu's expertise lies in literacy, reading, and writing. She has served as a literacy interventionist to elementary school students, and her program helped over 90% close grade level gaps. In addition, she has worked as a Teaching Assistant to undergraduate students in Duke's Sanford School of Public Policy. This role is given to students who are in the top 10% of their class of over 150 in essay writing. She has led educational programming for high school students at the University of Michigan through the Telluride Association, a living and learning ethnic studies summer program.

Additionally, she has helped students gain admissions into the country's most elite universities, including Harvard, Stanford, and the University of Chicago, as a college admissions consultant. Whatever your goals are, Liyu comes prepared and eager to be part of your team.
