As an incoming PhD student in an umbrella biomedical sciences program, I am deeply passionate about biology and chemistry, supported by my Master's degree in Biotechnology and Bachelor's degree in Biology. With over a year of experience as a substitute teacher across K-12, I have developed a tailored teaching approach that accommodates diverse learning styles, particularly for middle school students. I thrive in creating interactive and engaging lessons, drawing on my background in STEM education, which includes teaching coding and environmental science. My goal is to foster a supportive learning environment where students can connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications, such as understanding the vital roles of proteins in biological processes.
