I am a high school teacher for Fort Wayne Community Schools in Fort Wayne, Indiana. My main drive for teaching is to do my best to mold young minds and be a male role-model for young students. I am strong in the area of mathematics, specifically in Algebra 1. Math has always been a strong subject of mine due to its simplicity and matter-of-fact way of figuring things out. It challenges the brain to think critically in solving and computing. I have earned a bachelors of science degree in elementary and special education through Huntington University, though I have leaned into the special education area overall. I have taken and passed the middle school math license, which allows me to teach the content in the general education classroom. The best way I can describe my teaching style is allowing kids to voice their own opinions and thoughts within the class along side learning of new mathematical topics. This gives the classroom atmosphere an easy vibe that will allow all kids to maximize their educational experience. I am excited to work with students that need help in the area of math!
