I am a passionate educator with a decade of experience teaching out-of-school time programs at the US National Arboretum in Washington, DC, both in the classroom and in the garden. My approach to tutoring is to create a safe environment where it's okay to make mistakes, understand the challenge, and then practice solutions that help you achieve your goals! I can help K-5th grade students with ELA and math, but am also versed in other subjects like art and science. I'm also happy to help english learners of all ages gain confidence in their speaking, reading and writing abilities. I look forward to getting to know you!
