Learning isn't just about memorizing factsit's about building the mindset and skills to navigate an ever-changing world. That's what drives my work with students. I focus on helping learners grow into critical thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and confident communicators who are ready for the future.
As a licensed Social Studies teacher with experience teaching middle school science, I bring a unique blend of humanities and STEM into my tutoring. I'm also a trained reading literacy instructor, grounded in the principles of the Science of Reading, which helps me support students in building strong, research-based foundational skills. In addition, I hold a Special Education license and a TESOL endorsement, which enables me to work effectively with diverse learners, including English language learners and students with exceptional needs. I'm a Microsoft Certified Educator and currently completing my ISTE Certificationtwo credentials that reflect my passion for meaningful, student-centered technology integration.
I tutor science, English, and social studies. My favorite subjects? Science and social studiesbecause one asks "how does this work?" and the other asks "why does this matter?" Together, they help students connect ideas, ask big questions, and explore the world with curiosity and confidence. I use digital tools and interactive strategies to make learning engaging, accessible, and aligned with essential 21st-century skills.
My tutoring style is flexible, creative, and deeply personalized. I prioritize building trust, meeting students where they are, and helping them see challenges as opportunities to grow. Whether we're strengthening reading fluency, exploring historical themes, or breaking down scientific concepts, I aim to help each student take ownership of their learningand feel proud of their progress.

Outside the classroom, I love exploring and experimenting with new edtech tools, attending webinars and professional training sessions to continually grow in my practice. I enjoy traveling and visiting places that deepen my understanding of science and social studies—experiencing locations and events firsthand allows me to bring learning to life for my students in ways that go beyond the textbook. For me, learning never ends, and I strive to discover something new every day to enrich both my teaching and my students’ experiences.
