I hold multiple graduate degrees and have expertise across the disciplines of the humanities, social sciences, and research methods. My teaching philosophy is focused on clear communication and ensuring that I work with students at each step to understand the necessary material and achieve full comprehension. I have a broad range of interests outside of academic, including literature, poetry, journalism, ecology, and earth sciences.
