Teaching is like crocheting a beautiful scarfeach student, like each scarf, is one of a kind, made with different colors and textures. With every row, we see progress, just as we do in education. This belief fuels my passion for working with students: helping them grow, build confidence, and feel proud of their accomplishments.

I recently graduated from National Louis University with a major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I aim to teach 2nd grade, where I can foster a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment. I bring over 12 years of experience working with children, including those with special education needs. These experiences have taught me the importance of adaptability, empathy, and individualized instruction.

I tutor core elementary subjects, with a strong focus on math. Math is my favorite subject to tutor because it helps students develop problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and a sense of accomplishment. I love watching students shift from feeling intimidated by numbers to approaching problems confidently and curiously. My teaching philosophy centers on trust, encouragement, and celebrating small victories. I strive to meet each learner where they are and help them grow at their own pace, using strategies that match their unique learning style.

Outside of education, I run a small crocheting business with my familya passion project since 2019. Crocheting has helped me develop patience, attention to detail, and a strong sense of creativity, all influencing my approach to teaching and tutoring.

In addition to my academic background, I have over 12 years of experience working with children, including special education. I run a small crocheting business with my family, which has been a passion project since 2019. This venture has taught me the value of creativity, patience, and collaboration. My dedication to teaching stems from a deep commitment to helping students thrive, ensuring they develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed academically and personally.
