I am a PhD student in studying Neuroscience at the University of Rhode Island. I received my MS from the Neuroscience program at the University of Rhode Island, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Keene State College. I have been a Teaching Assistant (TA) for a variety of courses throughout my academic career, with a focus on required Psychology and Neuroscience courses. While I've taught a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Cognitive Neuroscience and Research Methods. I have served as a mentor for approximately 20 undergraduate and graduate students over the past 3 years, and have taught in classrooms ranging from 10-150 students.
I pride myself on being an attentive and empathetic tutor, always striving to meet each student where they are. With experience supporting learners from diverse backgrounds and abilities, I adapt my approach to ensure every student feels understood, empowered, and set up for success.
