Hi! My name is Dechok, and I'm a cancer researcher based in New York City with a passion for making science accessible, engaging, and empowering for students of all levels. I hold a Master's degree in Pharmacology from Georgetown University and currently work at Columbia University, where I study colorectal cancer using cutting-edge models like patient-derived organoids and whole-exome sequencing.

Over the years, I've mentored and taught students in subjects ranging from math and chemistry to more advanced topics like molecular biology, pharmacology, and cancer biology. My approach is rooted in empathy and curiosity. I believe every student learns differently, and my job is to meet you where you are and help you build the skills and confidence to succeed.
