I am a graduate of Brigham Young University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mandarin Chinese and Communications. I am a heritage speaker. I have done multiple extensive abroad experiences in addition to my academic learning. I served a 19 month mission in Taiwan and participated in BYU Flagship's one year program in China studying at Nanjing University and interning in Shanghai. My mom taught Chinese Immersion for Elementary age students and I helped aid her class as well as tutor some of her students. I always enjoyed helping these young students enjoy learning Chinese and gaining confidence in their abilities. I also enjoyed helping my classmates with understanding tones and Chinese culture. I'm happy to help younger students as well as anyone who would like to have someone to practice speaking Mandarin with.
