I went to college at American University in Washington DC, where I obtained my Bachelor's in Political Science, with two minors - Public Policy & Administration and Spanish. I graduated with Honors and interned at various nonprofits and think tanks. I was also an ESL teacher!

Over the years, I have found my passion in helping others overcome academic challenges. I have tutored students with ADHD and Dyslexia, adults who have struggled in typical academic settings, and teens and adults who wish to pass the GED. I also love helping students with English as a second language, Spanish, and middle school math and English.

My style is casual and personable, but I will hold you accountable! My previous students would tell you that I can put myself in your shoes and try to figure out exactly how your brain works so we can take the best route that fits your unique mind and personality.

In my free time, I love to cook, paint, explore new restaurants, and travel. I've lived in St. Louis, DC, Mexico City, and San Diego!
