As a two time Graduate from St. Mary's University, I have a broad set of Humanities course work behind me. Conferring over 200 University hours, I have traveled to Eastern and Western Europe, the Carribean, Mexico, and the United States. With a Masters in International Political Economy, I enjoy philosophic discussions and entertaining global politics and policy. Over the years, I have been a curriculm writer, and taught English as a Second Language and Civics. This has been really important work as I have prepared folks to become active Citizens of the U.S. I enjoy a good book, all sports, and am a Tri Athlete. Helping students and people comes naturally to me as I have taught all levels of education and enjoy all languages, history, government, economics and music. In addition, I have helped folks coming out of the prison system to earn their GED's as well helping students with Test preparation and study skills.

Hobbies

It's probably too difficult to place all of them down, but I am a singer/songwriter and have composed over 100 songs and poems. I enjoy nature, hiking, camping, and horseback riding and worked for two years managing a horse Ministry in Ohio! Currently, I am training for a Triathlon and have run 2 1/2 Marathon's. I also enjoy reading and a quest to learn new things...there is a saying, "a day without learning something new, is a day lost in time." So, I choose to take on each new day and live it to the fullest! Carpe diem!
