I graduated from Cambridge University with an MPhil in archaeology after completing a double major in Ancient & Medieval History and Art History from SUNY Purchase. I have a particular enthusiasm for Medieval European History, most especially the British Isles, but have a broad love of the entire story of Western Civilization and the culture it has produced, from the Epic of Gilgamesh to the works of Tolkien and C. S. Lewis! Throughout my education I have always supported my peers and enjoyed working with them on a wide variety of subjects, most especially history, literature, and languages! Having myself grown up in the public school system and experiencing the public classroom again as a volunteer tutor during my time in graduate school I have developed a passion for addressing some of the challenges students often encounter in large classes where extra support is not always available for students who may feel they are being left behind and extra challenges aren't forthcoming for students who have mastered the material they're given.
