I'm a graduate of Bowdoin College, where I majored in English and minored in Cinema Studies. I've always been passionate about the power of languagehow it shapes the way we think, connect, and create meaningand that passion has carried through my academic, professional, and creative life.

Over the years, I've worked with students in a wide variety of educational settings: coaching junior squash players, leading cabin groups at Camp Dudley, and guiding visitors through exhibitions as an education assistant at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art. In each of these roles, I found myself drawn to helping people learn, ask questions, and build confidence in unfamiliar territory.

As a tutor, I specialize in English, essay writing, literature analysis, and standardized test prep. I especially enjoy working on writingwhether it's crafting compelling college essays or breaking down how to structure an argument clearly and persuasively. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and rooted in active listening. I believe in tailoring each session to the individual student's strengths and goals, while also building a foundation of curiosity and resilience.

Outside of tutoring, I work as a filmmaker and run a small production company based in Brooklyn. My background in storytelling helps me teach students how to find their voice and communicate ideas with clarity and impact. When I'm not working, I love playing squash, reading, and getting lost in great films.
