I'm a tutor passionate about helping students build real connections to other cultures through language. With a BA in International Affairs from George Washington University, specializing in French Language and a minor in Arabic, I have extensive experience helping students at all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. One of my proudest moments was helping a student go from zero confidence in French to acing their exam.
I specialize in French Language (beginner to advanced), Arabic (beginner), and ESL (beginner to advanced), and my teaching style is tailored to each student's needs. I combine traditional classroom methods with fun cultural resources like TV shows, music, and movies to make learning engaging. Outside of tutoring, I love exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants, and writing about television and culture.

My favorite hobby is studying language. While I've studied both French and Arabic in a classroom environment, I've also taken the time to study Portuguese, Spanish, and some Danish on my own. I think that language learning is a great way to engage the brain and also to develop a meaningful, globalized perspective. Aside from languages, I love to spend time outdoors. You'll often find me exploring the city on a bike on a sunny day. I'm an avid reader, and I really enjoy reading short stories and memoirs.
