I recently graduated from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor with a double major in Chemistry & English Literature; I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Chemistry at Michigan! Throughout my undergrad years, I found a deep passion in both Chemistry & English. I completed an undergraduate thesis in 20th century American Literature, and conducted research in the Michigan Chemistry Department. More specifically, I spent two years (and now my Masters degree) researching organometallic chemistry, and one year researching Chemistry Education. In that time, I was highly involved in the undergraduate education system: thinking about how chemistry is perceived, the accessibility of chemistry, and the best forms of communication style. With these experiences, my passion for education grew, and I learned how to I blend my my love for writing, reading and communication with general & organic chemistry. While I am most passionate about Organic Chemistry, I also adore the study of English Literature and all the essays that follow.
