Supporting students in their academic journey, particularly in financial accounting and analysis, is an enriching experience for me. I'm passionate about helping students because I understand the challenges that come with mastering complex financial concepts. Witnessing their growth, confidence, and ability to apply what they've learned to real-world scenarios is incredibly fulfilling. Whether it's breaking down intricate financial statements or demystifying accounting principles, I find great purpose in helping others succeed.

Over the years, I have worked closely with students in both formal academic settings and informal mentoring roles. From leading study groups to providing one-on-one tutoring sessions, I've had the opportunity to support diverse learners at various stages of their academic and professional careers. My approach is patient, practical, and focused on building a strong conceptual foundation, essential for long-term financial and accounting success.

I earned a Master's in finance and a bachelor's in accounting. I am a chartered accountant and a CFA charterholder, which has given me a rigorous grounding in theory and applied finance. These qualifications have helped me develop a structured and analytical perspective, which I bring to every tutoring session. I currently tutor subjects such as financial accounting, managerial accounting, corporate finance, and investment analysis. Among these, financial accounting is my favourite to teach. It is the language of business, and helping students understand how financial data tells a company's story is exciting and impactful.

My teaching philosophy centers around clarity, engagement, and adaptability. I believe in meeting students where they are, understanding their learning style, and tailoring explanations to make the material accessible and relatable. I use real-life examples and case studies whenever possible to bridge the gap between theory and practice. My tutoring style is collaborative and supportive; I aim to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to think critically.
